“I grew up dancing and even studied it in college. However, years of dancing professionally have taken a toll on my love for dance. The constant criticism and competition left me feeling insecure. So, I was nervous to participate in Leucas’ dance party, carrying this pain with me. The moment I entered the space with Leucas, I felt seen and cared for. Leucas did an amazing job curating a space filled with love and non-judgment. The music invited our bodies to explore different rhythms and moves, allowing us to be silly, playful, and explorative. For the first time in years, I felt pure joy while dancing. Words can’t express how special that was for me. I will carry this joy and memory in my heart for a long time.”
