My professional and personal life is a stand for challenging all the norms.
I enjoy living my truth so boldly that it confronts all the inherited beliefs in you of what is the right way or the only way to live your life.
On my dancefloors you will be invited into a more honest way of being for the sake of experiencing the most expansive kinds of love that life has to offer.
A love that brings every tender emotion and desire in you to life.
So alive that it will be impossible for you to avoid them, even your grief will become irresistible.
My whole life, I’ve been known to go hard on any dancefloor.
When I accepted my codependent nature and embraced myself as transgender, I proudly became known as one of the weirdest and most colorful on any dancefloor.
Ten years ago, the pain caused from avoiding my truth brought me to my knees.
I knew I couldn’t survive another day with the emotional and physical suffering I experienced.
So, I dove into spiritual practices, body based practices, queer activism and studied mental and emotional health and most importantly devoted myself to studying me, the real, messy and powerful me.
All of this has enabled me to free myself of chronic pain, create many healthy relationships built upon reciprocity and I now have tangible resources that allow me to stay rooted in my wellness even amongst life’s greatest adversities.
Dancing and DJing is a way for me to continue integrating all these practices and to do so from a place of curiosity and play.
With this soft approach our nervous systems feel safe enough to reveal more, allow us to go deeper and this is what I wish for my dancers. A journey full of resources so that you feel confident enough to go deeper and explore further.
With my cross-genre sets, I will attune to you in your play, in your light, in your darkness and in your shame so that we can embrace all of your truth and harness all of you.
With the uncovered power in us, we will generate realities of unity and love that have not yet been imagined.

Tender Riots
Our first few kick off events will be for Queer Femme, Non Binary and Trans Folx as we believe that y'all will be the most impactful stewards of our dance floor culture. Our mission is to fortify the sanctuary of our bodies, minds and souls so that we may be more prepared to handle whatever Earth school is going to throw our way. We celebrate queer beauty in all its depth through music that will dance both our darkest and our lightest emotions. We dance the revolution.
Live DJ sets will follow some short guidance around exploring our bodies and regulating our nervous systems. Your DJ will provide some light vocal cues to support dancers in connecting to their bodies and one another throughout the set. These parties happen in the early evenings where drugs and alcohol are not at the center.

Community Agreements will be expanded upon before the dance gets started.
There will be a team of Riot Rousers present to help bolster community agreements, activate the dance floor and maintain as safe a space as possible.
A Note from Your DJ, Leucas Loves
If you thought you didn’t have the energy to get wackier than a courting black footed albatross, you will have to think again. My trap, tribal and house beats will bring you to your second wind or maybe your fifth. I’m just as playful, silly, goofy as I am spiritually inclined and I’m basically a monk. I live my truth so boldly that it will reflect the places in you where you are still lying to yourself. Let’s dance until every mask is shaken off. “Leucas provided and laid the foundation for such an uplifting environment that truly allowed anyone in the space to show up as authentically as possible without pressure to bring more or less of themselves to the floor. I was blessed to have my first somatic dance party on the beach and within an earshot away from the crashing of waves, though I believe that no matter where you are leucas will help ground and orient you to the space They started off with a grounding and exploration activity or exercise to freely roam and navigate where you’ll be dancing which allowed everyone who showed up to become one with themselves and each other. Because this space becomes so vulnerable as the movements emerge you were made to feel comfortable from the very beginning! As the space begins to blossom and the music grows you’re free to move and dance throughout the space however you feel best! The whole experience was truly life changing and felt like I was dancing in my living room yet I was surrounded by like minded queer folks in the most comfy way <3”
“I grew up dancing and even studied it in college. However, years of dancing professionally have taken a toll on my love for dance. The constant criticism and competition left me feeling insecure. So, I was nervous to participate in the somatic dance party, carrying this pain with me. The moment I entered the space with Leucas, I felt seen and cared for. Leucas did an amazing job curating a space filled with love and non-judgment. The music invited our bodies to explore different rhythms and moves, allowing us to be silly, playful, and explorative. “Leucas DJed at a Queer Surf retreat I attended this July and it was such a special and life affirming experience. Under the full moon in Capricorn, there was a moment toward the end of the set where he played a song sampling and layering a snippet of the honeyed vocals in My Girl by the Temptations that then faded into a beautiful house track, Happier featuring Clementine Douglas, and I felt my soul transcend my body, releasing me from all insecurities and worries for the duration of the song.
